Psalm 139:16-18
All the days ordained for me were written in your book before one of them came to be. How precious to me are your thoughts, O God! How vast is the sum of them!  Were I to count them, they would outnumber the grains of sand. When I awake, I am still with you.

Stream in the Wilderness

Psalm 139 is one of my favorites because it tells me that the God of the universe not only planned that I would be born, but took significant “time” to consider how He would bless me with His grace and mercy. God also pondered all the things He would allow into my life. He has made me unique.
It has been published that the average person has between five and seven hundred skills and abilities. If you consider our genetic code, our set of experiences and the abilities given to us by God; it’s not hard to understand why we are each one unique in the universe. Not only are we unique in our own time, but in time past and in the future. God spent some serious time thinking about me; and when He “lost” me due to sin, He performed the most dramatic rescue in the history of the universe to recover me; He died on the Cross to reclaim me as His child. How could I not trust the One who did all that for me? As I walk through this wilderness, I need to remember that each day’s journey is accompanied by a stream that is filled with life giving water.
